Family Man and its Ok

Family

I first moved to Utah in 1988. It didn't take long for me to fall in love with Utah and a sweet young lady who would become my wife. We have four children and 9 grandchildren.

Experience

I have over 30 years of experience working in Public Safety and with Municipal Government.  I joined the United States Coast Guard out of High School. After my enlistment, I became a Deputy Sheriff in Tulare, County, California. After moving to Utah I worked for Valley Emergency Communications in Salt Lake County as a dispatcher and data coordinator. From there, I went to work for a software company working with Public Safety agencies all over the United States and Canada. In 2009 I moved to Portland, Maine, and managed the Portland Regional 911 Center.

Layton

In 2015 we decided it was time to return home to Utah.  We looked all over the Wasatch Front for the ideal place to purchase a home and continue raising our family. We found Layton to be the city of choice.

Education

I attended the California Police Officer Standards and Training (POST) Academy at the College of the Sequoias in Visalia, California.

I also attended DeVry University where I studied Technical Management.
